Position Summary

The Vice President of Community Services is responsible for furthering our mission by providing executive leadership, vision, and guidance to multi‑disciplinary teams that deliver comprehensive services to homeless and at‑risk families and individuals throughout CCH. This role is a culture steward who sets the tone for how we show up for each other and for the people we serve by modeling curiosity, accountability, equity, and a deep respect for lived experience.

The VP ensures that all CCH community service programs provide consistent, quality and integrated services, and guides the development and expansion of existing community services across CCH.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, manage, and supervise community services across all areas under the Integrated Health and Supportive Housing Executive Team, in accordance with policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors, program funders, and management staff.
  • Hire, train, and supervise the Director of Ft. Lyon, the Director of Transitional Housing, the Director of Outreach and Engagement, the Associate Director of Employment Services, and the Manager of Rural Initiatives.
  • Serve as an active member of the Integrated Health and Supportive Housing Executive Team and the Organizational Executive Team to promote integration with and access to health care, supportive housing, and community services provided by CCH.
  • Participate in strategic planning and development of trauma‑informed community, recovery, and outreach services across CCH, including identification of unmet needs, creation and implementation of streamlined client intake processes, and integration of all community services into programs across CCH.
  • Participate in statewide initiatives that seek to expand housing and homeless services in rural communities across the state.
  • Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Program Directors on budget development.
  • Work closely with Program Directors and Grants Analysts to monitor and adjust grant budgets as needed to maximize program impact, effectively spend down available funding, and avoid budget deficits.
  • Oversee supervision provided by Program Directors, fostering a mission‑driven culture, providing staff development assistance, and working with Human Resources to swiftly resolve employee relations challenges. Review and approve decision‑making within programs.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, social services, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing multi‑million dollar organizational or program budgets.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supervising a multi‑disciplinary management team to drive organizational goals.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing multiple housing and/or human services programs simultaneously.
  • Extensive experience leading and developing management teams.
  • Demonstrated experience hiring and developing staff, coaching, evaluating performance, setting goals, and measuring success.
  • Clinical education or Master’s degree welcomed.
