Automotive Import Service Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead the service department at our Import dealership. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving efficiency and profitability, ensuring high repair quality, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong Import dealership experience and a results-driven mindset.

Lead, train, and manage a team of technicians and service advisors

Oversee daily service department workflow to ensure efficient operations and timely repair completion

Deliver exceptional customer service and professionally resolve escalated customer concerns

Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all repairs meet dealership standards

Implement and enforce service department policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Monitor parts inventory and coordinate ordering to maintain proper stock levels

Collaborate with sales, parts, and management teams to maximize overall dealership performance

Ensure compliance with dealer programs, warranty requirements, and manufacturer guidelines

Maintain accurate service records, repair orders, and customer documentation

Drive service department performance, CSI, and profitability goals

Import dealership experience strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance procedures

Proven leadership and service department management experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in service writing and repair order documentation

Ability to recommend and upsell maintenance and repair services based on customer needs

Familiarity with warranty administration and processes (preferred)

Cash handling and payment processing experience

Highly organized, motivated, and performance-driven

Monday through Friday
