What We Offer The City and County of Denver offers competitive pay commensurate with education and experience. New hires are typically brought into the organization between $183,574 - $240,000/annually, based on experience and education. The specific work location may vary based on the final organizational and divisional assignment of the successful candidate. Employees must work within the state of Colorado on remote workdays.

The Core Infrastructure Administration within the City and County of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is seeking an experienced leader to serve as an Executive, reporting directly to the City Engineer. This senior leadership position provides strategic direction and executive oversight for multiple divisions responsible for delivering and supporting citywide infrastructure, engineering services, and operational programs.

The Core Infrastructure Administration is comprised of six divisions:
Wastewater Operations and Maintenance;
Wastewater Capital Implementation;
Interagency (vertical and citywide client delivery);
Procurement and Supply Services;
Program Management; and Special Projects and Initiatives. Collectively, these divisions play a critical role in the planning, delivery, operation, and support of infrastructure and services that advance the City’s strategic priorities and serve Denver’s residents, businesses, and communities.

The Executive will provide leadership across a portfolio of multiple divisions as noted above, with the specific portfolio of responsibility determined based on the organization’s needs and the successful candidate’s experience and expertise. The position will work closely with the City Engineer, senior DOTI leadership, and internal and external partners to advance complex infrastructure initiatives, strengthen organizational performance, and ensure effective, sustainable delivery of critical city services.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership Establishes and advances a long-term vision and multi-year strategy for multiple engineering and operational divisions, aligning people, resources, and programs with DOTI and citywide priorities.
