Assistant General Manager- Denver

We're searching for a passionate and dynamic Assistant General Manager in Denver, CO.

As the ideal candidate, you're an experienced Assistant General Manager with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, creating and executing successful marketing plans, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 3 years of restaurant management or bakery production experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You should have experience with ordering and inventory systems, and understand how to run a guest-focused business.

Additionally, you should have a flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and be able to handle physical requirements such as lifting heavy objects and working with cleaning chemicals.

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of doughnut makers and service staff
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Analyze financial data to make informed business decisions
• Collaborate with General Manager to create a culture of excellence, emphasizing guest service and quality products
• Foster a positive work environment, providing coaching and feedback to team members
• Communicate effectively with the Voodoo Doughnut team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the food or hospitality industry
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Strong business acumen, with experience managing budgets and financial performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for great doughnuts and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
• A strong work ethic, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions quickly and decisively
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed
