Project Manager HVAC Chiller Services

We are currently looking for a skilled Project Manager to oversee the lifecycle of commercial and industrial mechanical, chiller, and HVAC service initiatives, managing them from the early planning stages to final delivery.

In this role, you will collaborate with internal staff, vendors, subcontractors, field technicians, and clients to guarantee that all work is performed safely and effectively while adhering to strict budgetary and timeline constraints.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze contracts, scopes of work, and project requirements to define goals and initiate project kickoffs.
• Cultivate productive partnerships with clients, internal team members, vendors, subcontractors, and technicians.
• Provide comprehensive oversight and guidance across every stage of your assigned projects.
• Organize the necessary resources, including manpower, equipment, materials, and schedules, to ensure project success.
• Oversee the financial health of projects by tracking costs, budgets, billing, and change orders to maximize profitability.
• Generate precise financial forecasts and report operational results to senior management.
• Mitigate project risks by implementing strategies that safeguard quality, safety, timelines, and client satisfaction.
• Track ongoing progress to proactively resolve any obstacles that might impact project costs or delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with field staff to ensure all installations align with technical specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and industry codes.
• Facilitate clear communication with clients to provide regular updates on project milestones, costs, and status changes.
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals, estimates, project closeouts, and change order documentation.
• Ensure all project records are maintained accurately within our digital systems and workflows.
• Promote a workplace culture centered on teamwork, safety, and professional accountability.
• Seek out innovative ways to streamline operations and enhance the value provided to our customers.

Professional Background

• At least five years of professional experience within the chiller service, commercial HVAC, or mechanical construction sectors.
• Demonstrated history of successfully overseeing mechanical, chiller, or HVAC service projects is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, field teams, and clients is strongly preferred.
• Background in managing financial performance, including forecasting, budgets, change orders, and RFIs, is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical systems, commercial HVAC, and chiller equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities to guide project teams with a high level of professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster lasting professional and client relationships.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage competing priorities across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting and profitability analysis.
• Advanced problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation, project plans, and detailed scopes of work.
• Competency in using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with project management or construction software is preferred.
• Ability to engage with field personnel on industrial and commercial job sites.
• Dedication to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work autonomously while remaining a collaborative team member.
