This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Operations Project Manager II based in the United States.

This role leads medium- to high-complexity operational projects from initial concept through successful implementation and launch.

You'll translate strategic objectives into clear project plans, milestones, deliverables, budgets, and execution roadmaps.

Working across multifunctional, cross-divisional, and multicultural teams, you'll coordinate stakeholders and keep projects aligned to scope, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.

The position combines project leadership, risk management, operational improvement, customer engagement, and executive communication.

You'll identify challenges early, develop effective mitigation strategies, and drive continuous improvement across key operational metrics.

Success requires strong ownership, sound judgment, structured communication, and the ability to motivate diverse teams toward shared outcomes.

The role is full-time and remote within the United States, with opportunities to work on strategic initiatives that have broad organizational and customer impact.

Accountabilities
  • Lead assigned medium- to high-complexity projects throughout the full lifecycle, from concept and requirements gathering through implementation and launch.

  • Define project goals, objectives, success criteria, key performance indicators, milestones, deliverables, and implementation roadmaps.

  • Develop statements of work, business proposals, functional requirements, project plans, budgets, staffing forecasts, and implementation strategies.

  • Establish and maintain project plans that clearly communicate timelines, dependencies, responsibilities, and expected outcomes.

  • Manage projects against scope, quality, schedule, and cost requirements while maintaining accountability for overall project success.

  • Build and lead multifunctional, cross-divisional, and cross-cultural project teams, providing direction, motivation, coaching, and feedback.

  • Coordinate stakeholders across business functions and maintain effective communication with customers, project teams, senior management, and leadership.

  • Identify project risks, conduct regular risk reviews, develop mitigation strategies, and elevate significant issues appropriately.

  • Track project changes and evaluate their potential cost, schedule, scope, and operational impact.

  • Monitor project performance and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational and organizational goals.

  • Provide regular project updates covering progress, risks, issues, costs, milestones, and deliverables to relevant stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project roadmaps and ensure requirements are accurately translated into execution plans.

  • Identify creative, cost-effective approaches to address operational gaps and mitigate project risks.

  • Support customer satisfaction by understanding and exceeding internal and external customer expectations.

  • Prepare proposals and recommendations designed to close gaps, improve performance, and reduce project risk.

  • Facilitate project-related communication, education, and alignment among affected teams and stakeholders.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and comply with applicable security, safety, and health requirements.

  • Use project management and enterprise technology tools to monitor execution and support effective decision-making.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • At least 1 year of experience leading projects or working in project management.

  • Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred.

  • PMP certification or an equivalent project management credential is preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead strong multifunctional teams toward organizational and customer objectives.

  • Strong project planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to define, develop, and implement strategies that support broader organizational objectives.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective partnerships across functions and organizational levels.
