We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Production Supervisor to provide effective leadership to our manufacturing team on night shift. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment while meeting production and quality targets. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and team leader with a passion for successfully achieving business results, employee development, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Employee Safety
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Ensure all safety training is completed by team members
  • Lead the team to successfully complete awareness initiatives to reduce workplace hazards
Employee Engagement & Communication
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and collaboration
  • Maintain open lines of communication with team members through regular meetings, feedback sessions, and one‑on‑one check‑ins
  • Recognize and celebrate team achievements and individual contributions
  • Gather input from and engage all team members in productivity initiatives
Training & Development
  • Onboard and train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Actively lead and build effective work teams to increase plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate ongoing training and cross‑training opportunities
  • Support career development through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback
Performance Management
  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct performance reviews to support goal setting aligned with company objectives
  • Regularly provide clear and constructive feedback on expectations and performance to all team members, promptly addressing any performance issues in a supportive manner
  • Maintain documentation, track, counsel, and execute coaching and corrective action when performance issues occur
  • Review, track and modify individual training plans based on individual needs
  • Effectively administer the collective bargaining agreement, including resolution of issues and grievances (Union represented plants only)
Production & Quality Goals
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities and schedules to meet output, efficiency, and quality targets
  • Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to address variances
  • Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure products meet or exceed OC and customer standards
  • Perform root cause analysis with the involvement of operators on all quality issues and resolve
  • Develop and implement productivity projects / programs to enhance processes
  • Leverage standard work to minimize variation and waste
  • Understand the methods of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and drive performance within these fundamentals
  • Lead AM teams through AM Steps 0-7
  • Participate and lead FI Projects using FI Problem solving skills/techniques
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and execute actions to deliver improved processes and results
  • Communicate expectations around TPM with all team members
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years of leadership and or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, quality systems, and production processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using SAP, POP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to regularly stand and walk for 12 hrs
  • Ability lift and push up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs regularly over a 12 hr shift
  • Able to perform repetitive hand, arm, and leg movements over a 12 hr shift
  • Must be able to squat and bend at the waist and knees regularly
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement (Preferred)
