The lab tech's responsibility is to provide cross-section analysis on all final product to certify that the structural integrity of the printed circuit boards meet the customer requirements. After cross-sectioning either coupons or boards, the lab tech will generate a report that can be sent to the customer that provides information relating to the structural integrity of the lay-up and processing of the final product.

2nd shift schedule of 3 PM - 11:30 PM, Mon-Fri.

This job is located at 10720 Bradford Rd, Littleton Co, 80127.

• Evaluate cross section samples in accordance with customer specifications, IPC and Mil specs
• Generate cross section lab report and issue NCMR for non-conforming products
• Prep micro section sample coupons including: baking, cutting, mounting, grinding, and polishing specimens
• Perform solderability and steam age testing
• Assist Final QC in conforming with customer cross section requirements for shipping
• Must meet all department quality and throughput requirements as well as follow all company policies and procedures
• Must be flexible in working in various departments as needed and to include overtime needs

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Must have the ability to perform the basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide). Also must be able to demonstrate the ability to round-off numbers to the proper digit as identified on the blueprints.
• Must be able to comprehend and use the computer and basic software to generate reports, printout reports, take photos of cross-sections and save to the network. Must be able to send e-mails to appropriate personnel with attached photos as necessary.
