We're looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter Foreman to lead shop fabrication crews and drive safety, quality, and production performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the trade, can read drawings with confidence, and takes pride in delivering high-quality pipe fabrication on schedule.
As a Pipe Fitter Foreman, you'll oversee daily shop operations, guide and train your crew, and ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to spec. You'll work closely with shop leadership to track production, communicate job status, and keep workflow moving smoothly.

Position Summary
Provides direction and leadership of assigned crew members. Performs trade specific work consistent with production procedures in a shop environment. Work shall meet all efficiency, safety, and quality requirements to ensure finished product meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for safety, production, and quality of assigned crew members.
- Lead and manage shop team members to deliver daily production goals.
- Operate trade specific shop tools and machinery.
- Provide information on daily production to manage production tracking.
- Communicate status of orders to shop leadership.
- Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products.
- Interpret job orders and drawings as needed for area of assignment.
- Prepare layout and fabrication of piping spools from production drawings.
- Inspect and document product compliance.
- Review produced work for correctness and perform quality control inspections.
- Train new employees.
- Maintain accurate time records.
- Work closely with fabrication team members in a collaborative team environment.
- Arrange maintenance of relevant shop production equipment.
- Identify product defects and effectively communicate defects to shop leadership.
- Working with overheard cranes, jib cranes, and forklifts.
- Plan and delegate prioritized work flow assignments as directed by shop superintendent.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly shop floor.
- Responsible for compliance with all safety processes and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Good trade specific training, experience and knowledge.
- Familiar with shop production environment.
- Must have knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
- Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues and making recommendations.
- Manages daily activities of trade specific crew.
- Creates and manages schedules for trade specific crew.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong trade specific training, experience and knowledge.
