Key Responsibilities- Set up sheetfed printing presses by installing plates, adjusting ink levels, setting registration, and ensuring proper paper alignment.
- Operate the sheetfed press, managing speed, pressure, ink density, and paper handling to produce consistent, high-quality print products.
- Unload press delivery skids from the press and maintain accurate documentation of press runs.
- Conduct major lubrication processes, check oilers, and perform daily maintenance on the press to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor the printing process continuously, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the print run to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Proven experience operating sheetfed printing presses or similar equipment.
- Strong understanding of printing processes, including plate setup, ink management, and registration.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and lubrication on printing machinery.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in printing technology is a plus.
