Join our dynamic production team as a Sheetfed Press Operator, where your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality printed materials. Key Responsibilities
  • Set up sheetfed printing presses by installing plates, adjusting ink levels, setting registration, and ensuring proper paper alignment.
  • Operate the sheetfed press, managing speed, pressure, ink density, and paper handling to produce consistent, high-quality print products.
  • Unload press delivery skids from the press and maintain accurate documentation of press runs.
  • Conduct major lubrication processes, check oilers, and perform daily maintenance on the press to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor the printing process continuously, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the print run to identify and address any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience operating sheetfed printing presses or similar equipment.
  • Strong understanding of printing processes, including plate setup, ink management, and registration.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and lubrication on printing machinery.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in printing technology is a plus.
