Hourly: $30-$35 per hour

Key Job Responsibilities- Ensure plant facilities and equipment are kept in optimal working condition and safety standards are upheld.
- Develop and follow a preventive maintenance program for all machinery, including operating and testing automated lines, systems, and equipment.
- Restore, repair, overhaul, or replace faulty or non‑functional components and parts.
- Enhance the performance and reliability of facility systems and related equipment by identifying, proposing, and executing modifications, expansions, and additions.
- Organize forklift maintenance and guarantee that daily forklift inspections are conducted.
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to established standards and procedures, and complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Expand job knowledge through educational opportunities and reviewing technical literature.
- Work independently and collaboratively with a team, being self‑motivated and able to fulfill commitments.
- Availability for on‑call duty during evenings and weekends may be necessary.
- Technical understanding required.
- Experience troubleshooting electronics, pneumatic and mechanical systems, and making necessary repairs in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
- Machinery maintenance experience required.
- Welding and electrical experience.
- Some carpentry skills preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
- Self‑motivated and able to make limited independent judgments based on given alternatives.
- Able to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Able to interpret an assorted number of tasks or instructions.
The employee will work in an indoor manufacturing environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high and requires the use of hearing protection. The employee is required to wear PPE. Exposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time may occur. Lunches and breaks are regulated.
Employment RequirementsMust pass a drug and alcohol test, conducted through an outside vendor, Quest Diagnostics, before beginning work. Refusal to submit to testing will result in disqualification.
