Production Manager
Job Overview
Production Manager – 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Responsible for leading manufacturing activities, including metal forming and press operations, to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
Reporting ToSr. Production Manager
Responsibilities- Develop and execute daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer demand using MRP systems.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, SMED to improve efficiency and throughput.
- Track and drive key metrics:
On‑Time Delivery (OTD), Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Scrap and Rework Rate, Labor Efficiency/Productivity. - Ensure product quality meets engineering specifications and reduce scrap and rework rates.
- Supervise, train, and mentor production personnel, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Enforce all safety standards and policies, conduct regular audits, and investigate incidents.
- Monitor production budgets and work to reduce plant operating costs.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong understanding of metal forming processes (stamping, drawing, flanging, bending) and ability to interpret blueprints and BOMs.
- Proficiency in MRP systems.
- Proven leadership ability to guide teams in a fast‑paced environment and drive change.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field preferred.
- 5–7+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in metal forming, stamping, or fabrication.
