Production Technician

Summary:

Crazy Shirts purpose is to create original and memorable artwork on quality products that take our

customers on the endless vacation in everyday life. The Production Tech supports this mission

by performing the apprenticeship functions in qualification for a printer or technician position.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:

• Supports the print team in setting up and breaking down the press: laying out garment, work order sorting, screen and pallet loading and unloading, squeegee replacement, ink loading and scooping, preprint loading and post print removal and maintaining a clean work area.
• Member of a team responsible for reproducing as many impressions of a design onto apparel in the shortest amount of time within all quality and performance metrics.
• Visually inspecting each item as part of the quality control.
• Screen washing, setting up jobs according to schedules, screen pull and put away, screen break down and reclaiming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic Mathematical and Reading/Comprehension Skills.
• Pass the background screening.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Standing, bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, carrying and moving items
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery.
• Ability to perform essential job functions in an environment with varied noise levels.
• The working environment may be dusty, noisy, and open to varied weather and temperature changes.
• The use of appropriate PPEincluding eye and ear protection, and rubber gloves as needed for comfort.
• Must be able to abide by the companys Exposure Prevention, Preparedness, and Response guidelines as it relates to the spread of communicable diseases, and workplace safety; this includes use of masks (as needed and required per CDC and Company recommendations) and the ability to use cleaning supplies for cleaning and disinfection purposes.
