Position Overview
Perform RF test operations on electronic components and subassemblies in accordance with company, IPC and J-standards. The main focus of this position is testing RF assemblies with some soldering and mechanical operations as required. 3rd shift hours of 10:30PM–7:00AM, Sunday–Thursday nights. This position is located at 10720 Bradford Rd., Littleton, CO.
Responsibilities- Test PWBs or assemblies using Network Analyzer, test procedure, and predetermined setup test equipment.
- Use voltmeters, scales, holding fixtures, bench tools, automated and manual soldering equipment and special fixtures as required.
- Follow written or oral instructions from process engineers, manufacturing engineers and supervisor.
- Prepare and assemble PCBs, perform component preparation, dispense or apply adhesives, and utilize various tools to perform mechanical assembly.
- Inspect work to ensure it meets all requirements.
- Create NCMRs (non-conforming material reviews) and perform root cause analysis as needed.
- Read, interpret and follow detailed test procedures and assembly drawings.
- Work to develop customer relationships through collaboration, respect, professionalism, trust and integrity.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Preferred: 1+ years of RF test experience, solder/mechanical assembly experience, J‑standard certification and 1PC‑610 certification.
- Essential skills: basic and routine repetitive mechanical assembly operations, proficiency with hand tools, ability to run automatic soldering equipment, quality oriented with ability to seek help, excellent time‑management and prioritization, basic mechanical and soldering skills, ability to read and follow detailed test procedures and verbal instructions, limited soldering skills under magnification, ability to maneuver tiny objects.
Salary range: $40,210 – $63,558 per year. An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply; positions hired for the alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
