Sanitation Tech Jr 3rd shift

Shift: 9:00 PM-7:00 AM. Hourly Rate: $22.95 an hour + $2.00 shift differential. Reporting to the Sanitation Manager, you will support sanitation activities within the plant environment by ensuring equipment and production areas are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained in compliance with food safety, safety, and quality standards. You will contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace by following established procedures and supporting production readiness.

• Clean and sanitize equipment, including machinery, hoppers, and extruders.
• Use approved chemicals to clean and maintain production equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and clean assigned production lines and surrounding areas.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Follow all safety and Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Attend work as scheduled and maintain punctuality.
• Complete Lockout Tagout training within the first 90 days.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
• Identify food safety risks and escalation concerns to lead or supervisor.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Machine Operator experience.
• Detail oriented with strong attention to cleanliness and compliance.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of food safety practices and risk awareness.

Physical and environmental requirements include: standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling, performing consistent repetitive tasks, frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
