Scope and Shift
Perform assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies in accordance with company, IPC and J-standards. The main focus of this position is hand‑soldering. This is a 3rd‑shift position with hours from 10:30PM to 7:00AM, Sunday through Thursday nights.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assemble parts into repetitive and non‑complex units or subassemblies, utilizing hand tools and soldering iron.
- Use voltmeters, scales, holding fixtures, bench tools, automated and manual soldering equipment and special fixtures as required.
- Perform assembly operations under a stereo microscope.
- Follow written or oral instructions from process engineers, manufacturing engineers, and supervisors.
- Prepare and assemble printed circuit boards; perform component preparation; dispense or apply adhesives; and utilize various tools for mechanical assembly.
- Inspect work to ensure it meets all requirements, including inspections at various process stages.
- Create NCMR (non‑conforming material review) records and perform root‑cause analysis as needed.
- Read, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions and assembly drawings.
- Maintain compliance with all department and corporate policies, including Safety, Security, and ESD.
- Follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
- Perform basic and routine repetitive mechanical assembly operations using fixtures, screwdrivers, etc.
- Proficient use of hand tools.
- Run automatic soldering equipment.
- Determine if product meets company’s quality standards.
- Excellent time‑management skills and ability to prioritize projects.
- Work with fine‑pitch components and under magnification when required.
- Read, understand, and follow assembly instructions, visual aids, and drawings.
- Basic mechanical and soldering skills.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
1–5 years of solder or complex assembly experience.
Compensation range: $40,210 – $63,558.
Additional compensation:
Possible annual or quarterly company bonus and shift premium for alternative shift positions.

Export ControlsMust comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and applicable laws (ITAR, EAR, OFAC).
Responsibilities include:
- Identify ITAR products on the manufacturing floor and restrict access to US citizens and US permanent residents only.
- Recognize foreign visitors through badge differentiation.
- Follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities.
- Understand and follow export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US.
- Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
