Responsibilities- Operate and maintain a Class 4 CNC laser engraving machine safely and efficiently
- Produce phenolic tags, engraved metal labels, equipment identification tags, signage, and promotional materials
- Read and interpret work orders, layouts, drawings, and customer specifications
- Prepare materials for engraving including measuring, cutting, cleaning, masking, and organizing production runs
- Perform machine setup, alignment, calibration, and routine maintenance
- Verify product dimensions, engraving quality, and accuracy prior to release
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and staging completed products for delivery or shipment
- Maintain organized inventory of engraving materials and consumables
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures related to laser operations
- Support general shop operations and other manufacturing-related duties as assigned
- Previous experience operating CNC equipment, laser engravers, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
- Experience with engraving software, CAD layouts, or vector graphic programs preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to read tape measures, drawings, and production layouts
- Familiarity with manufacturing tools, shop equipment, and production workflows
- Ability to safely lift materials and work in a manufacturing environment
- Reliable attendance and positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to learn machine programming and production processes quickly
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize between competing demands
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively change priorities as needed if urgent needs arise
- Able to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing/shop environment around laser and fabrication equipment
