Position Summary
Located in Denver, Nestlé Purina’s factory has operated since 1930, transitioned to pet‑food production in 1972, and utilizes solar energy and renewable practices. The facility produces 260,134 tons annually of various pet‑food brands and maintains a zero‑defect, zero‑waste culture.
Responsibilities- Train on specific production equipment/machinery safely and productively.
- Provide support to operators in Unloading, Processing, and Packing.
- Run unloading, processing, and packing equipment and serve as backups to operator positions in various departments.
- Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance, clean and inspect equipment.
- Effectively work with interdepartmental personnel to maintain safety, quality, and production flow throughout the plant.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience operating and troubleshooting machinery/equipment in a manufacturing, production, agricultural, military, or related environment.
- Position requires the ability to work 2nd and 3rd shift.
