• Proficient in MIG welding and able to pass 3G GMAW test
• TIG experience a plus but not required
• Fabricate underground steel structures used to support electrical conduit raceways
• Assemble and weld custom fabricated components through accurately reading blueprints/drawings or direction from supervisors
• Working knowledge of welding procedure specifications (WPS)
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drills, ironworkers, and other shop tools
• Perform metal preparation including measuring, cutting, deburring, grinding, and cleaning materials
• Assist with bending, fitting, and assembly of fabricated products
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures
• Support general shop operations and other fabrication-related duties as assigned

• Previous welding experience required
• Capability to qualify procedures for carbon steel and aluminum.
• Ability to read tape measures, shop drawings, and basic fabrication layouts
• Familiarity with metal fabrication tools and equipment
• Ability to safely lift materials and work in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and positive team-oriented attitude

• Able to work under pressure and prioritize between competing demands
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively change priorities as needed if urgent needs arise
• Able to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
• Ability to pass med fit test for respiratory protection and work in a manufacturing/shop environment around welding and fabrication equipment
