Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance, Operations Engineer
Responsibilities
- Train, motivate, and direct employees to follow safe work methods and standard procedures for efficient use of resources.
- Monitor downtime occurrences and production line efficiencies, identifying maintenance and mechanical trends.
- Maintain equipment for efficient operation within budget while adhering to union contract and USDA regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance team performance and production line efficiencies.
- Participate in predictive and preventive maintenance activities.
- Evaluate PM/PDM activities and frequencies to optimize workforce and resources for maximum equipment reliability.
- Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by following all safety procedures and incorporating safety into every task.
- Foster a team concept that prioritizes personnel safety, food safety, and uptime.
- Follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality standards are met.
- Report any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, product quality, or personnel safety.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety standards.
- Experience with preventive maintenance program.
- Relocation assistance is available for this position. Preference will be given to local candidates.
May be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs or ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand‑eye coordination. May be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.
CompensationPay Range: $64,000 – $95,000
