Job Title: Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm)

Location: Denver, CO area

Employment Type: Direct Hire

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient production while meeting quality, delivery, and productivity goals. The Production Supervisor will lead production teams, support continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to drive operational performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily production operations on assigned shift to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Provide leadership and oversight during the scheduled shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM).
  • Promote and enforce Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety training, audits, observations, and corrective actions.
  • Support quality initiatives, layered audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop production employees.
  • Maintain training records, standard work instructions, and operating procedures.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and overtime requirements.
  • Provide performance feedback, evaluations, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including Safety, Quality, On-Time Delivery, and Productivity.
  • Coordinate with Production Planning to execute schedules and meet customer requirements.
  • Communicate production performance, downtime, and operational issues to leadership and support teams.
  • Ensure production reports and operational documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to resolve production challenges.
  • Support equipment reliability by ensuring maintenance issues are identified and addressed promptly.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required;
    Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience required; high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
  • 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience tracking and improving manufacturing KPIs.
  • Working knowledge of production planning and manufacturing workflows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Experience with MRP systems preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles preferred.
