Job Summary
This position will independently set‑up, operate and troubleshoot one machine/equipment (Shear, PNL, Turret, Brake Press, Robotic Cell, Cut‑to‑Length, Roll Forming/Seaming, Press Lock).
Duties and Responsibilities- Set‑up, thread the material through, and operate independently one machine (Shear, PNL, Turret, Brake Press, Robotic Cell, Cut‑to‑Length, Roll Forming/Seaming, Press Lock, Welder/Paint Booth).
- Follow daily manufacturing work orders, paying special attention to various materials and adding any specific notations needed.
- Assist with the operation of other machinery under close supervision.
- Assist with packaging at the end of the line and as needed.
- Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished product.
- Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights using appropriate tools.
- Achieve production goals while complying with all safety requirements.
- Mount and originate slitter knives, spaces, and guide discs for various specified coil widths, adjusting clearances of knives and performing vertical/horizontal gapping (roll‑former only).
- Adjust machinery through observation and monitoring equipment feedback, and perform quality control methods.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and daily equipment inspection.
- Maintain an orderly work area.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Able to safely operate a sit‑down forklift; training provided if necessary.
- Demonstrate safe working practices and possess great attention to detail.
- Understand and follow CCM’s policies, procedures and processes.
- Good communication, organization and time‑management skills.
- Basic computer, mathematics and problem‑solving skills; ability to use a calculator.
- Ability to use measuring devices (gauges, tapes, rulers).
- Team player able to follow instructions from management and peers.
- Ability to learn and operate new equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience.
- Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with exposure to ambient/outside temperatures, dust, increased noise, and mechanical pinch points.
- Hours:
40 hours per week;
Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (flexible for overtime and weekend hours as required). - Location:
1550 E 73rd Ave Ste A, Denver, CO 80229.
- Occasionally lift or carry 1–10 lbs.
- Frequently lift or carry 11–20 lbs.
- Continuously lift or carry 21–40 lbs.
- Occasionally lift or carry 41–50 lbs.
- Frequently lift or carry 51 lbs or more.
- Occasionally push or pull 1–40 lbs.
- Frequently push or pull 41–50 lbs.
- Occasionally push or pull 51 lbs or more.
- Bending or stooping, reaching above shoulder level, operating machinery or power tools, climbing ladders or stairs, walking, standing, and sitting required.
- Working in extreme temperatures, repetitive motions, vision, hearing, dexterity, and hand‑eye coordination may be required.
- Steel or composite toe boots, safety glasses, cut‑resistant gloves and arm guards, and hearing protection.
- Hourly Rate: $25.14
