Job DescriptionSummary:
Position Summary:
The Systems Operator is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the entire conveyor system during night warehouse loading operations from start to finish – responsible for waving, invoicing and distributing labels.
Job Description:Schedule:
Monday through Thursday
7 pm - 5:30 am or until completion
- $21.00/hr - $35.84/hr night differential
Monitor and Control the maintenance of the following:
All levels of mezzanine order selecting, including bottle lines and the OSR sorting and the system scanners associated with this system
The sorting pre-mergers and the system scanners associated with this system
The combiner and the system scanners associated with this system
The sorter and the system scanners associated with this system
The volume of all loading doors, Jack Pot Land and the system scanners associated with this system
All breaker boxes in the warehouse
Operate the computer systems and ensure maintenance of the additional backup system Troubleshoot all issues by communicating with management, maintenance department and DW&H as needed with any maintenance issues Ensure the smooth operation of the conveyor system by:
Controlling all cases that go through the tower, controlling loading from origin to load
Clear all belt jams
Clean and maintenance of the system (including belts and photo eyes)
Back up routing at the beginning of the sort
Oversee the nightly label and invoice printing process to ensure timely and accurate creation of labels and invoices and distribute invoices as appropriate.
Partner with IT to troubleshoot and correct issues affecting printing equipment.
Identify, research, and correct invoice “red light” issues impacting nightly invoice runs.
Print all stickers
Print driver invoices & maintain computer/printers as needed
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operational sorting and loading systems
Must work with high efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Ability to communicate clearly and precisely
- In depth knowledge of DW&H and KNAPP system
The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The associate frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and climb or balance.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
