About

the Role

The Post Cultivation Specialist is responsible for processing harvested cannabis through trimming, bucking, sorting, weighing, packaging preparation, and related post-harvest activities. This role plays a critical part in preserving product quality while ensuring harvested material is processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.

Working closely with the Post Cultivation and Production teams, this position supports daily production goals while maintaining quality, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Success in this role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process harvested cannabis through bucking, trimming, sorting, weighing, and related post-harvest activities
  • Prepare harvested material for curing, packaging, extraction, or additional production processes
  • Inspect product throughout processing to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Remove stems, fan leaves, and other unwanted plant material while preserving product quality
  • Maintain product identification and traceability throughout each stage of processing
Production Operations
  • Meet established production goals while maintaining quality expectations
  • Accurately record production activities and complete required documentation
  • Assist with inventory movements and material transfers as directed
  • Operate and maintain assigned tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Support cross-functional production activities as business needs require
Quality & Compliance
  • Follow all state regulations and internal compliance procedures
  • Adhere to company SOPs, quality standards, and sanitation requirements
  • Identify and report product quality concerns, equipment issues, or process deviations
  • Maintain accurate production records and inventory tracking documentation
  • Participate in required compliance, quality, and operational training
Facility & Team Support
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production objectives
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental projects
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous cannabis, manufacturing, production, agriculture, food processing, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain all required state-issued cannabis industry credentials applicable to the position and work location
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable transportation required
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements

This role is primarily onsite in Denver, CO and requires regular work in cultivation, post-harvest, and production environments. The position typically follows a 40-hour workweek based on operational needs.

The role requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, repetitive hand movements, and frequent use of trimming tools and production equipment. Employees must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and move product throughout the facility.
