The Expediter plays a critical role in ensuring materials, parts, and components move efficiently across ESS Metron's production floor to keep projects on schedule and operations running smoothly. Working within the Fabrication, Warehouse, and Operations departments. Expediters serve as the connective tissue between purchasing, production, and project teams — tracking material flow, resolving shortages, and communicating status updates in real time.

This role is structured across three levels
- Expediter I, II, and III - allowing individuals to grow their skills and advance their careers as they deepen their expertise in supply chain coordination and operations management.

• Perform all duties in a safe manner and promote a "Safety First" mentality across the team.
• Organize, stage, and deliver materials to designated production areas to prevent work stoppages.
• Move materials using material handling equipment including hand trucks, pallet trucks, and forklifts (after certification).
• Verify and audit incoming production kit shipments against documentation (bills of lading, invoices) to check for accuracy and damage.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company safety standards.
• Perform basic data entry to record production information and material movement in company systems.
• Communicate with team leads, supervisors, and managers regarding material status, potential shortages, or delays.
• All other duties as assigned by direct lead, supervisors, or managers.

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and parts between departments according to production schedules and priorities.
• Review production schedules and work orders to determine material requirements and identify potential shortages or backlogs.
• Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, shipping, and material status reports.
• Act as a liaison between operations, purchasing, and warehouse departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
• Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counting and reconciling discrepancies.
• Communicate with team leads, supervisors, and managers regarding material status, potential shortages, or delays.
• All other duties as assigned by direct lead, supervisors, or managers.
