Organ Procurement Manager
The Organ Procurement Manager role oversees the day-to-day operations of the clinical surgical team, including administering related policies, programs, and processes throughout the organization. Works collaboratively to align organ clinical processes with mission, vision, and values. Actively foster an organizational culture that is inclusive and aligns with Donor Alliance’s core values.
Responsibilities- This role will require 2 shifts/week evening coverage (7p-11p) to support night-shift staff and night-shift employee meetings. Works a minimum of 6 backup administrator on-call shifts per month.
- Oversee daily procurement operations, including participating in a high level of process improvement, change management, and deviation management activity.
- Collaboration and relationship management across both internal departments and external partners, like donor hospitals and transplant centers.
- High-level of attention to detail and decision making when it comes to mission critical clinical scenarios.
- Maintain regulatory environment knowledge in a rapidly changing clinical environment.
- Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to staff.
- Facilitate and participate in a variety of departmental and organizational meetings.
- Minimum of 5 years of organ procurement or surgical technician experience required- emphasis on operating room operations
- Management experience preferred
- Strong professional relationship skills required to be successful in the role
- Able to multi-task and manage a variety of evolving projects
