Principal Product Manager (IC4) duties include defining industry product strategy, market direction, and business impact for Net Suite ERP, owning the product vision and strategic outcomes for the nonprofit sector, and translating non‑profit requirements into scalable ERP and AI‑driven solutions. The role is strategic and market‑facing, focused on “what to build and why”, with success measured by sector adoption, win rates, revenue influence, competitive differentiation, reduction in churn, and strategic clarity rather than operational output.
CoreResponsibilities (IC4 Scope) Industry Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the industry product strategy and roadmap direction for Nonprofits & Organizations within Net Suite ERP.
- Identify critical needs of nonprofits, including fund accounting, compliance, transparency, and program impact tracking, and convert insights into clear strategic priorities.
- Establish Net Suite’s point of view on how AI‑enabled ERP solutions can transform mission delivery, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement for nonprofits.
- Act as the recognized internal subject‑matter expert for nonprofit ERP use cases.
- Engage directly with nonprofit customers, sector partners, and thought leaders to validate strategy and guide roadmap decisions.
- Influence analyst positioning, industry messaging, and executive narratives to reflect nonprofit sector priorities and differentiators.
- Define AI‑driven industry use cases across donor management, grant tracking, program impact analysis, fundraising efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with platform and AI teams to ensure the nonprofit sector’s needs drive investment decisions.
- Innovate around ways AI and automation can increase transparency and operational efficiency for mission‑driven organizations.
- Drive outcomes across sector ARR growth, pipeline influence, adoption, and account expansion within the nonprofit vertical.
- Inform packaging, positioning, and GTM strategy through nonprofit‑specific value propositions.
- Provide strategic input into pricing, bundling, and monetization approaches tailored to the nonprofit sector.
- Lead through influence—partnering with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to align nonprofit strategy with product execution.
- Provide clarity and prioritization that enables teams to efficiently deliver sector‑focused enhancements and features.
- Operate independently with limited guidance on approach, consistent with IC4 expectations.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- 10 years of experience in product management, product strategy, or industry solution leadership.
- Deep domain expertise in nonprofit sector operations, funding models, program management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong ERP background:
Net Suite experience strongly preferred. - Proven ability to define and scale industry‑specific enterprise software solutions.
- Demonstrated success operating at director‑level altitude as an individual contributor.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, mission‑driven environments.
