What you d be doing
- Working alongside the Communications Committee chair on email, social, and outreach
- Learning how the council shapes and shares its public voice
- Taking on more responsibility over time, so the committee always has continuity
Every MLCC committee needs a co-chair: someone apprenticing alongside the current lead so committees don t depend on any one person indefinitely. This role lets longtime volunteers eventually roll off while the work keeps going.
What it takes- Interest in writing and community communications
- About two hours a month, and a willingness to commit for a year or two
