Philanthropy Events Manager

The Philanthropy Events Manager is tasked with the strategic planning and coordination of all fundraising events for the Colorado Symphony. This role is essential for enhancing donor relationships and supporting major gift cultivation while creating memorable experiences that align with the Symphony's mission. Responsibilities include developing an annual event calendar, managing logistics, and ensuring successful execution of  addition to event planning, the manager will collaborate with frontline fundraisers to design events that aid in donor cultivation.

This includes managing guest lists and creating personalized experiences for major donors. The role also involves working closely with board members and volunteers to maximize event impact and engagement.

Financial management is a key aspect of the position, requiring the development and oversight of event budgets, tracking expenses, and securing sponsor ships. The manager will also maintain accurate records and report on event performance metrics to inform future strategies. Collaboration with various departments is crucial to ensure seamless event experiences.

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of event planning experience, preferably in a nonprofit or arts environment.
