This position develops advisor partnerships, promotes the Foundation's philanthropic services, and connects advisors and their clients with charitable giving opportunities.

The position also manages Advisor Managed Funds (AMF) and the Foundation's Professional Advisors Council while collaborating with the Impact Group on advisor engagement and philanthropic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Professional Advisor Engagement – 40% Develop and maintain relationships with professional advisors to increase charitable business. Recruit and manage the Professional Advisors Council. Develop strategies to expand and diversify the Foundation's advisor network.

Partner with advisors to develop content and thought leadership related to racial equity. Facilitate advisor council meetings and professional advisor events. Fundraising and Donor Services – 40% Serve as the primary contact for new business inquiries from professional advisors.

Promote philanthropic services and encourage referrals for new fund holders and planned giving prospects. Help advisors support their clients' philanthropic goals and identify customized giving solutions. Manage Advisor Managed Funds, including onboarding, relationship management, and ongoing monitoring.

Partner with investment operations to complete due diligence on new AMF opportunities. Marketing and Collaboration – 20% Participate in speaking engagements and networking events to expand the Foundation's advisor audience. Partner with Communications on newsletters, social media, and advisor-specific content.

Collaborate with Impact Group and Communications staff on events, convenings, and stories of impact. Contribute to team goals, leadership development, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in fundraising or financial services. Experience with volunteer committees, boards, or affinity groups. Knowledge of charitable giving products and the high-net-worth wealth sector. Experience working with advisors and families managing intergenerational wealth.

Experience using CRM systems for relationship management and prospect tracking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship-building, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.

Experience developing professional networks and strengthening partnerships. Commitment to racial equity and the community foundation model. Ability to work effectively with individuals from varied cultures, experiences, and viewpoints. Preferred Experience and Certifications CAP, CFP, CIMA, or similar professional certification.

Experience with major gifts, donor-advised funds, planned gifts, and/or complex assets.

Physical and Work Requirements

Daily phone communication. Frequent computer use for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation. Regular group and public speaking engagements. Occasional outdoor activities and events.
