Job Summary And Qualifications
  • Position Summary:

    The Assistant Controller performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan ects and oversees phases of the Accounting Department, including budgeting, accounts payable, month end close process, balance sheet reconciliation, cost report preparation, and special projects. Performs month end analyses/entries related to discounts/contractual and physician transactions. The Assistant Controller displays positive support for the values and mission of RMC.
  • Position Requirements:
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    None required. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
  • Experience:

    3 years hospital/healthcare accounting experience; 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Must have effective verbal and written communication in order to communicate in a clear, concise manner. Demonstrate proficiency with computer systems and spreadsheets. Must possess strong supervisory and coordinator/organizational skills. Must be detail-oriented and strong technical resource.
