Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Traveling OR Registered Nurse to join a busy surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality perioperative care across various surgical specialties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures ensuring patient safety.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgery.
• Document clinical interventions accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Follow strict safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with a minimum of 1 year of current hospital OR experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures including Orthopedic, Spine, CV, GYN, and Robotics surgeries.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit flexibility and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
