Position: Travel Registered Nurse Oncology |

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS Oncology RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Unit Highlights
  • 18-bed specialized Blood Cancer Unit
  • Strong, experienced staff with low turnover
  • Advanced technology: telemetry, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps/PCA
  • Meditech EMR system
  • Focus on nurse‑led primary care, fostering autonomy and expertise
Required Qualifications
  • Current RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent hospital acute care oncology experience
Preferred Skills
  • Chemo and biotherapy certification
  • Step down experience with acute hematology patients
  • Compassion for oncology patients and comfort with chronic illness
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, with a patient ratio of 3‑4:1
  • Administering medications, blood transfusions, and electrolyte replacements
  • Supporting procedures such as lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies (with or without sedation), and thoracentesis
  • Educating patients and families on their care and safety regarding hazardous drugs
