Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Denver, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients with diverse needs
• Manage post-operative burn, flap, and wound care with precision and empathy
• Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Utilize advanced equipment like wound vacs and PCA pumps to enhance recovery
• Monitor and document patient progress using Meditech EMR

• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Wound care, ostomy care, or burn care experience highly preferred
• ACLS certification a plus

• Proficient in Med/Surg nursing principles and acute care
• Skilled in wound and ostomy care management
• Comfortable with Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Strong teamwork and positive attitude
