Role Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient‑centered, compassionate care in patients’ homes, applying the nursing process and evidence‑based practice to support independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for each patient.
- Perform wound care, injections, medication administration, and IV monitoring.
- Educate patients and caregivers on health management and safety.
- Use technology and multidisciplinary coordination to deliver meaningful care.
- Read and interpret labels, operate monitors, and manage equipment and supplies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and the care team.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and lifting of moderate to heavy items.
- Navigate crowded rooms, stairs, and uneven surfaces safely.
- Drive to patient homes while maintaining a safe, reliable vehicle and good driving record.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and sufficient driving record.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – required as of 4/27/2025.
- Effective communication skills: ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must complete a BSN within four years of the start date.
- One year of RN experience in acute care, home health, or hospice settings.
Working 24 hours per week, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Friday/Saturday plus another weekday. Shift differentials are available. Detailed shift specifics can be discussed during interview.
LocationHomecare – Denver Metro, Denver, Colorado.
Salary$37.17 to $56.17 per hour, depending on experience.
