Registered Nurse Home Health

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient‑centered, compassionate care in patients’ homes, applying the nursing process and evidence‑based practice to support independence and quality of life.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for each patient.
• Perform wound care, injections, medication administration, and IV monitoring.
• Educate patients and caregivers on health management and safety.
• Use technology and multidisciplinary coordination to deliver meaningful care.
• Read and interpret labels, operate monitors, and manage equipment and supplies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and the care team.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and lifting of moderate to heavy items.
• Navigate crowded rooms, stairs, and uneven surfaces safely.
• Drive to patient homes while maintaining a safe, reliable vehicle and good driving record.

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and sufficient driving record.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – required as of 4/27/2025.
• Effective communication skills: ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must complete a BSN within four years of the start date.

• One year of RN experience in acute care, home health, or hospice settings.

Working 24 hours per week, covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Friday/Saturday plus another weekday. Shift differentials are available. Detailed shift specifics can be discussed during interview.

Homecare – Denver Metro, Denver, Colorado.

$37.17 to $56.17 per hour, depending on experience.
