Hourly Wage Estimate: $35.51 - $54.87 per hour.

$10,000 sign‑on bonus! Shift: 7 pm – 7 am (night). Minimum 12‑hour shifts, rotating weekends and holiday shifts required.

Job Summary

What you will do in this role:

  • Coordinate direct admissions and hospital transfers to appropriate HCA Division hospitals.
  • Coordinate ambulance transfers from HCA Division hospitals to other facilities and post‑acute care providers.
  • Work in a customer‑centric transfer and transport call center; respond to all callers using an electronic database of service profiles, approved clinical protocols, and healthcare information.
  • Manage all hospital transfers efficiently and consult with on‑call physicians regarding patient care issues and advise when appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with HCA facilities to manage all internal and external patient movements and bed assignments.
  • Apply nursing knowledge to gather appropriate clinical data for placement, transfer facilitation, communication, and accurate documentation.
  • Communicate with physicians and outlying facilities when placement of a specific patient is problematic; use problem‑solving skills to determine the best course of action.
  • Assist in data collection, monitoring, evaluation, and analysis of transfer problems to develop and implement protocols, policies and procedures.
  • Exhibit excellent customer‑relationship skills with telephone and personal contact with all call‑center customer groups, including physicians, nurses, vendors and employees.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience in acute care (ED or critical care preferred).
  • RN license in the state(s) covered by the division; multi‑state license required if covering more than one state.
Scheduling Requirements
  • 12‑hour shifts required.
  • Flexibility in scheduling required.
  • Rotating weekends required.
  • Holiday shifts required.
