Job Overview

RN Clinical Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage patient care and Clinical Case Managers under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Act as first line manager for designated staff and assist with patient care as needed.
  • Handle day‑to‑day management of provider issues and care delivery.
  • Improve quality and consistency of patient care and experience.
  • Evaluate quality of care, patient satisfaction, and compliance.
  • Facilitate Care Coordination Meetings, provide leadership in problem solving, and give professional clinical advice.
  • Review, implement, and interpret clinical policies and procedures as directed by DOCS.
  • Serve as a clinical lead at relevant clinical and departmental meetings.
  • Enforce and demonstrate compliance with all State and Federal regulations.
  • Communicate with case managers (State funded programs, Medicaid, third‑party payors) and provide clinical updates, ensuring continuing authorizations and re‑verification of eligibility.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and utilization review of organizational services.
  • Support and execute the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectively.
  • Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner in company and community.
  • Adhere to the dress code with a clean and neat professional appearance.
  • Report as scheduled to complete work within designated time.
  • Maintain a steady patient caseload.
  • Interview and screen candidates.
  • Aid in terminations, coaching, education, and counseling of field staff.
  • Assist in management of complaint intakes, tracking and follow‑up.
  • Meet and greet potential new cases.
  • Participate in QAPI/PAC and QA audits as appropriate.
  • Take an active role during in‑services meetings to promote team re‑education and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Home Health or Acute setting required.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical management/supervision preferred.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities with strong supervisory and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented, flexible, with good organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Current CPR card and health certificate as applicable.
  • Current state driver’s license and automobile insurance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
