Certified Nursing Assistant Day Shift

Covenant Living, the nation’s sixth‑largest nonprofit senior living provider, is seeking qualified candidates for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to help fulfill our common purpose: to create joy and peace of mind for our residents and their families by creating a better way of life. Positions are available in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care.

• Report directly to the nurse manager, and may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provide direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Perform duties related to basic personal care of residents, such as bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer, etc., according to procedures and daily assignments.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner by providing light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside tables, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assist with resident laundry by marking, cleaning, mending, ironing, and putting away clothes as needed.
• Notify supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving meals and feeding residents.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
• Listing on the state’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

$19.70 – $28.01 per hour

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $19.70 – $28.01 per hour. The actual rate of pay may vary based on job‑related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
