Overview
Empatia Palliative Care is looking for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to care for our patients in the Denver, CO area.
Job TitleNurse Practitioner Palliative Care
ResponsibilitiesFacilitates palliative care for Empatia Palliative Care patients, ensuring a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan, while demonstrating excellent clinical skills and ethical, relevant judgment. Provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow‑up under the direction of the Palliative Medical Director (if required under State law).
Qualifications- NP Licensure - Colorado
- DEA Licensure - with experience writing for pain and symptom management
- Hospice/Palliative Care experience preferred
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Minimum two years of Nurse Practitioner clinical experience
- Specialty in Family or Adult Medicine preferred
- Experience with value‑based care models and Part B billing preferred
- Ability to work autonomously in an advanced practice role
- Current RN license or equivalent as required by state law
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner certification/license without board actions
- Collaborative agreement with supervising physician from the Professional Services Corporation
- Part B Provider certification
- Federal DEA license; state DEA license if applicable
- ACHPN certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
