Step into a dynamic surgical environment within a modern operating room suite, supporting advanced procedures and a collaborative team. This contract role offers an opportunity to work 12-hour day shifts from 7AM to 7PM, with required night and weekend on-call coverage. The main operating room hosts 16 suites, equipped with updated technology to ensure efficient patient care and a supportive atmosphere for staff.

Desired

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Demonstrated experience in transplant procedures (kidney/liver)
• At least 3 years of professional nursing experience in the operating room (preferred)
• National certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR

Your Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub for a diverse range of surgeries, including total joints, spine, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
• Collaborate closely with an experienced team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow RNs
• Uphold strict safety protocols and infection control practices
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within Meditech EMR
• Provide perioperative care, anticipating the needs of the surgical team and prioritizing patient safety
