- Involves patient, family, team, and physician in plan of care including education, referrals, and follow-up.

- Provides or delegates care consistent with plan of care, guidelines, and professional licensure.
- Sets priorities and coordinates patient care delivery managing time, supplies, and resources effectively.
- Evaluates patient response to interventions and revises plan of care as needed.
- Promotes nursing profession and participates in development of others.
- Integrates legal and ethical standards into practice, complies with regulatory standards, practices within scope of licensure, and provides accurate and timely documentation.
Job Details
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado; valid compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of employment start.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers required.
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of hire date.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred and required as of 4/27/2025 for new hires or promotions.
Job Requirements
- Day shift, 10 hours per day.
- Typical shifts are 9-10 hours long.
- Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends.
- Potential for some reduction in hours if needed for low census.
- 40 hours per week.
Schedule Information
- Skills include patient care delivery, nursing fundamentals, interdisciplinary teams, documentation, professional etiquette, accountability, patient care coordination, communication, patient evaluation, and critical thinking.
- Physical requirements include ability to see and read information, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
- Frequent verbal communication and hearing during emergency situations.
- Manual dexterity for manipulating complex and delicate equipment.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients, bend, retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment including heavy items.
- Ability to walk and assist with transporting patients and equipment, navigate crowded rooms.
- May be required to stand for extended periods.
- For roles requiring driving, ability to drive vehicle and read traffic signals.
