Hourly Wage Estimate: $39.00 - $57.00 / hour

Position Summary

The Resource Team RN supports the mission of Presbyterian/St. Luke’s & Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children by delivering nursing care to patients in the PICU, Pediatric unit, NICU Level II, NICU Level IV, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED, and any RMHC care area as needed. The RN serves as the primary nurse and/or care coordinator, leads the collaboration of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care, oversees assistive personnel, and maintains final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.

When necessary, the RN performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care in PICU, Pediatric unit, NICU Level II and IV, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED, and RMHC care areas as needed.
  • Serve as primary nurse and/or care coordinator, leading collaboration of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
  • Oversee and direct care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in Colorado as a Registered Nurse or active multistate RN license; BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP upon hire.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
  • Two years experience in pediatric/neonatal care preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other team members.
  • Ability to manage a team and work within a team to ensure quality patient care.
  • Strong critical‑thinking skills.
