Travel opportunity for an RN in the Operating Room. Shifts are from 07:00 to 19:00. The unit has 23 operating rooms and a staff of 70. Day shift personnel typically include 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. The patient ratio is 1:1. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should have experience in acute care OR settings.
Preferred experience includes orthopedic, spine, cardiovascular, and robotics procedures. Elective surgical cases performed on the unit include orthopedic, spine, general, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, and urology. The ideal candidate is flexible and excels in a teamwork environment. This is a competitive market; any unique skills or equipment familiarity may enhance your application.
