Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and autonomous Registered Nurse (RN) to lead our medication administration training and compliance program. In this role, you will bridge the gap between virtual theory and hands‑on clinical mastery. You will be the primary clinical authority traveling to various centers across the Denver Metro Area to certify staff on life‑saving medication delivery.

We operate in a state‑of‑the‑art, autistic‑friendly facility designed to mirror an early childhood learning experience. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally‑appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family.
Responsibilities- In‑Person Skills Validation: Following completion of virtual training modules by staff, conduct hands‑on skills assessments for routine prescriptions and emergency medications (including Epi‑Pens, inhalers, and seizure rescue medications).
- Quarterly Compliance Audits: Visit centers every quarter to ensure client medication records are accurate, up‑to‑date, and stored according to protocol.
- Care Plan Oversight: Review and verify that all Emergency Action Plans and Care Plans are clinically appropriate, accurately documented, and properly signed.
- Center Support: Act as the subject matter expert for center‑level staff regarding medication safety and administration protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain digital records of staff certifications and center audit scores.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. School Nursing or Pediatric nursing experience is strongly preferred.
- Education Background: Previous experience in nursing education, clinical instructing, or staff precepting is highly desirable.
- Travel: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel across the Denver Metro Area.
- Availability: Must be able to commit to up to 8 hours per week during standard business hours (8 AM – 5 PM).
