About the PositionTravel Nurse Source is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Walsenburg, Colorado, 81089!
We are seeking an experienced and confident Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center in Walsenburg, Colorado. This is a night shift position where the RN will be the primary nurse in a 3-bed Emergency Department, working alongside a tech, with support from an RN Administrative House Supervisor as needed.
This role is ideal for a highly autonomous RN who thrives in a rural ED setting and is comfortable managing a wide range of emergency presentations.
Requirements- Active Colorado RN License (or compact license)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required
- Prior Emergency Department experience required
- Experience in rural or critical access settings preferred
