Overnight Nurse Manager – The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks an overnight nurse manager to manage daily nursing and clinical operations, collaborate with community partners and integrated health teams, support patient and staff needs, and help lead quality improvement efforts for the program. This role is pivotal to the integrated health team’s ability to meet our patients’ needs through a unique 24/7 program at the Stout Street Recuperative Care Center.
The position will directly support and manage nurses, medical assistants (MAs), and behavioral health technicians. We support medication management, wound care, complex care management, and transitional care for unhoused patients with acute medical needs. The role is located at 2175 California St., Denver, CO 80204, and reports to the Director of Recuperative Care. Weekend, evening, on‑call, and holiday rotation are required.
Robust differential compensation is provided for our managers.
NOTE:
In order to ensure that our consumers receive the best possible care, the candidate chosen to fill this position will be required to complete our internal credentialing and privileging process prior to a start date. The credentialing and privileging timeline is dependent on the selected candidate’s submission of necessary documents. A start date will be scheduled once credentialing and privileging are complete.
Requirement
- Valid driver’s license required. This requirement may be waived, if necessary, based on overall candidate experience and current needs of the business and/or role.

- Ensures the quality of care through oversight of patient‑centered integrated treatment plans and regular case conferences.
- Ensures the facility meets Medical Respite national standards and strives for benchmarked best practices in integrated care.
- Monitors program censuses and staff FTE, schedules the team according to ratios and program needs, and ensures adequate communication and scheduling of staff.
- Participates in and leads quality improvement activities for the Respite program in collaboration with the Integrated Health Management Team.
