Rhino Medical is seeking Nurse Practitioners for an ongoing locum tenens assignment supporting occupational medicine and urgent care services in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role involves diagnosing and treating work‑related injuries, performing pre‑placement DOT physicals, and evaluating walk‑in urgent care patients within a variety of private and government sites.
This opportunity offers providers the chance to work in a well‑supported clinical environment, performing in‑office procedures, communicating with employers, and providing medical guidance, all while maintaining a respectful and professional manner.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Outpatient occupational medicine and urgent care settings

Practice Environment Providers will deliver services in private employer locations and government sites, including urgent care settings, with resources aligned to operational standards. The environment emphasizes clinical workflow support and resource accessibility necessary for efficient service delivery.
Coverage & Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No specific end date; ongoing assignment preferred
- Clinical workflow support provided at each site
Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat work-related injuries
- Perform pre-placement DOT physicals for private companies and government agencies
- Evaluate and treat walk-in urgent care patients
- Perform in-office procedures within scope
- Communicate with employers and offer medical guidance
- Exhibit respectful, skillful, and professional behavior
- Document all patient encounters promptly and accurately
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in occupational medicine or relevant specialty
- Experience with occupational medicine and DOT physical exams preferred
- Familiarity with urgent care workflows in private and government sectors advantageous
