Position Summary
Neurosciences FTE:
Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Day and Night Rotation. The position requires a graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience, State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
The candidate must have at least 6 months of nursing (RN) experience and a BLS or CPR card good through sixty days of hire.
- Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
- Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Direct care includes specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units of moderate to high patient acuity.
- Clinical Educators support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider (or other relevant life support certification as determined at the position level).
- Minimum 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- BLS or CPR card must be valid through at least 60 days of hire.
- Three Year Incentive Bonus to recognize employee contributions.
