About the PositionThis position is for a Mother Baby RN at HCA HealthONE Rose, Denver, CO 80220. The shift is 07:00-19:00, , on the 3rd floor.
Unit details: 3 North Post Partum / (660). Approx. 80 staff on the floor including 1 charge RN, 2–3 CNAs, 9–10 RNs per day. Night shift staffing is similar.
Patient ratios are estimated at 3 or 4:1.
Equipment:
Main computer system – CPN EMR;
Meditech / CPN.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital postpartum/mother‑baby experience.
- Current BLS and NRP certification.
- Preferred:
Travel RN, flexibility with schedule, adaptability to new situations.
Typical Procedures:
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications.
- Manage perineal care.
- Educate parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding.
Personal Qualities: Compassionate, patient, team player. Strong communication with staff and providers is essential.
