Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Denver, Colorado, 80220.

Job Title:

Seasonal Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule:

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit maintaining a 2:1 patient ratio
• Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and external cephalic versions
• Monitor and assess high-risk obstetric patients using Centricity and GE fetal monitoring equipment
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CSTs, and flex staff across a 29-bed unit with 4 ORs, 3 PACU bays, 12 antepartum rooms, and 10 triage rooms
• Function as a self-starter capable of working independently while supporting fellow team members

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) certification or AWHONN certification

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• PACU experience
• Surgical/OR experience in an obstetric setting

• Work alongside a large, experienced team of 148 staff members in a well-equipped, high-volume Labor & Delivery unit utilizing current technology and monitoring systems
• Gain diverse clinical exposure including high-risk OB, antepartum, triage, PACU, and OR settings within a single assignment
